Mission:

As part of the Data & AI strategy for value creation, the Data Scientist consultant supports MEA countries in the design, development, and deployment of high-business-value Data & AI use cases.

They are involved end-to-end, from understanding business needs and identifying opportunities to developing the solution, industrializing it, and supporting it in production.

The consultant works closely with the Data & AI referents in the countries, the Data & AI teams, and the business teams, with a primary objective of transforming use cases into concrete, value-creating solutions.

1. Country Support

• Gather and challenge the business needs of the countries to identify high-potential Data & AI opportunities.
• Translate business problems into concrete and feasible Data Science / AI use cases.
• Support countries in defining the scope, necessary data, KPIs, and success criteria.
• Provide their Data Science expertise to challenge approaches and propose the most relevant solutions.

2. Use Case Development

• Design, develop, and test Data Science and AI models.
• Perform exploratory analyses, data preparation, modeling, and performance evaluation.
• Use Dataiku as the preferred platform for developing and industrializing use cases.
• Document developments, models, methodologies, and results to facilitate their reuse and replication in other countries.

3. Delivery and Industrialization

• Support use cases until they go into production, in collaboration with the Data & AI teams.
• Identify the technical, data, and business prerequisites necessary for deployment.
• Monitor the performance of solutions in production and contribute to their continuous improvement.
• Promote the standardization and replicability of solutions across countries.

4. Value Creation

• Contribute to defining and monitoring KPIs to measure the value generated by use cases.
• Work with business teams to ensure that developed solutions effectively address business challenges.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and extension of deployed use cases.
