As part of this role, your main responsibilities will be:

A. Design & Technical Definition

• Define the 3D interfaces, volumes, and architectures of mechanical systems.
• Write technical specifications for supplier requests.
• Validate the 2D/3D data and interface drawings provided by subcontractors.

B. Validation & Finalization

• Finalize the 3D model (integrating supplier contributions).
• Check for lack of interference and correct geometric conflicts.
• Validate points raised in technical reviews and close corrective actions.
• Finalize the definition file (2D drawings, DMA, PLM) for transmission to manufacturing.

• C. Manufacturing Preparation

  
  
  
• Validate the installation and detail drawings for production.
• Ensure all designs are compatible with manufacturing processes.

• D. Support & Problem Solving

  
  
  
• Support the Methods teams during assembly/prototyping phases.
• Report technical problems and propose corrective solutions.
• Participate in follow-up meetings with project teams and suppliers.

Education: Engineering degree or equivalent in mechanical engineering, industrial design, or aeronautics.

Experience: 3 to 5 years in mechanical design (rail/industrial sector is a plus).

Skills:

Technical Skills

Proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 (or EHI), creating complex models.

Use of DMA, PLM, and DOORS for traceability and requirements.

Knowledge of rail/aeronautic standards (e.g., EN 45545, NF F00-100).

Understanding of manufacturing processes and assembly constraints.

Experience working with Methods, Quality, and Suppliers.
