Job :
Accounting Management and Closings
• Ensure monthly accounting closings for the group's various entities (Real Estate and Agriculture divisions).
• Supervise the maintenance of general and analytical accounting.
• Prepare the monthly and annual summary statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, notes, and accounting package) for the group's various subsidiaries.
• Guarantee the reliability of accounts and carry out complete accounting review.
• Ensure the proper application of the Moroccan chart of accounts and current accounting standards.
Tax Management
• Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory obligations.
• Prepare, verify, and supervise tax declarations (VAT, Corporate Tax, withholding taxes, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with tax deadlines and the accuracy of declarations.
• Participate in tax optimization within the framework of Moroccan legislation.
• Manage relations with the tax administration (DGI).
Control and Organization
• Be responsible for the correct accounting and analytical imputation of expenses.
• Implement, formalize, and update accounting and tax procedures.
• Prepare files for statutory auditors and external audits.
Management
• Lead and manage a team of accountants.
• Ensure task distribution and monitor team performance.
• Train and support employees in compliance with good accounting and tax practices.
Required profile :
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting and taxation, including at least 3 to 5 years as a Chief Accountant or in an equivalent position with responsibilities for supervision and account closing.
• Proven experience in the real estate sector is highly desirable, ideally with management of real estate projects, land companies, or property development.
• Previous experience in a renowned accounting or trust firm is an asset to ensure mastery of accounting and tax standards.
• Complete mastery of accounting review, summary statements, and Moroccan tax packages.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare and file tax declarations autonomously, and to manage relations with the DGI and statutory auditors.
• Successful experience in managing an accounting team and implementing reliable financial and tax procedures.
