Key Responsibilities : 1. EHS System Development and Strategic Planning <ul><li>Establish and continuously improve the EHS management system in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and applicable Moroccan regulatory requirements.</li><li>Develop annual EHS objectives, performance indicators, and implementation plans.</li><li>Integrate EHS requirements into all operational and production processes and drive continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Implement EHS policies, audit requirements, and reporting mechanisms to ensure effective governance and performance monitoring.</li></ul>2. Regulatory Compliance and Government Liaison <ul><li>Monitor and ensure compliance with Moroccan labor, environmental, health, and safety legislation.</li><li>Coordinate communications and inspections with labor authorities, environmental agencies, fire departments, and other regulatory bodies.</li><li>Ensure all required permits, authorizations, environmental approvals, and certifications remain valid and up to date.</li><li>Conduct compliance assessments against applicable environmental regulations and lead corrective action plans when required.</li><li>Coordinate government inspections, external audits, and stakeholder inquiries related to EHS matters.</li></ul>3. Occupational Health and Safety Management <ul><li>Conduct hazard identification and risk assessments covering chemicals, machinery, electrical installations, work at height, and confined spaces.</li><li>Implement and monitor risk mitigation and control measures.</li><li>Oversee EHS performance of contractors, subcontractors, and construction companies, including qualification reviews and approval of work and emergency response plans.</li><li>Lead investigations of workplace incidents, injuries, and near misses, and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions.</li><li>Manage fire protection systems and emergency response capabilities, including drills and preparedness exercises.</li><li>Coordinate occupational health programs, industrial hygiene monitoring, and employee medical surveillance activities.</li><li>Develop and deliver EHS training programs, including induction training, technical safety training, and leadership awareness initiatives.</li></ul>4. Team Development and Safety Culture</li><li>Build and develop a high-performing EHS team through clear role definition, competency development, and succession planning.</li><li>Promote a strong safety culture through behavioral safety programs, safety observations, awareness campaigns, and employee engagement initiatives.</li><li>Encourage workforce participation in EHS improvement programs and initiatives.</li><li>Prepare regular EHS performance reports for leadership and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.</li></ul> Required profile : Qualifications : 1. Education <ul><li>Bachelor's degree or higher in Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.</li></ul>2. Work Experience <ul><li>Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS management within an industrial or manufacturing environment, including at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory EHS role.</li><li>Experience in sectors such as manufacturing, chemicals, energy, infrastructure, heavy industry, or large-scale construction projects is highly desirable.</li><li>Experience within multinational or international industrial organizations is considered an advantage.</li></ul>3.
