The ABC site in Worcester, MA, offers a unique setting where Biotherapeutics discovery, development and manufacturing coexist in one location. The team partners with multidisciplinary groups across AbbVie focused on developing therapies for Immunology, Neuroscience, and Oncology. We utilize innovative approaches for antibody discovery including custom immunization strategies, advanced multiplex screening assays, and best-in-class automation platforms to enable successful antibody discovery against challenging targets. </p><br><p>As a member of the in vivo antibody discovery group, you will be responsible for leading innovative immunization-based antibody discovery. You will provide technical and strategic leadership across multiple immune discovery platforms, driving the identification of high-quality therapeutic antibody candidates for challenging targets and advanced antibody modalities. <p>In a context of increasing engine maintenance activities, Sales Administration is strengthening its billing department to secure Shop Visit operations, ensure the reliability of data quality, and support overall performance. The Billing Officer, Operational Referent, is responsible for the entire billing cycle of engine maintenance activities, from contractual review to invoice issuance, distribution, and archiving, in compliance with contracts, internal procedures, and quality requirements. They are responsible for creating and tracking files in SAP, verifying the consistency of contractual, commercial, and financial data, and collecting the necessary elements for invoice preparation. They also issue invoices, credit notes, and adjustments in coordination with various internal stakeholders. They ensure the compliance of billing operations, contribute to revenue security, and manage processing deadlines. They also intervene in dispute management, in coordination with internal teams and clients, analyze discrepancies, and propose corrective actions. As an operational referent, they support the team on complex issues, participate in harmonizing practices, integrating new employees, and disseminating best practices. They also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, performance indicator monitoring, and billing process optimization, in collaboration with Logistics, Finance, Quality, Production, and central Sales Administration teams, in an international environment.</p><p>Additional missions of Operational Referent:</p><ul><li>Support team members on complex billing, contractual compliance, and dispute resolution issues.</li><li>Participate in the onboarding of new employees and contribute to their skill development.</li><li>Formalize, harmonize, and disseminate best practices, operating procedures, and operational standards.</li><li>Identify recurring blocking points and propose improvement action plans.</li><li>Lead or contribute to cross-functional projects for billing process optimization and data reliability.</li><li>Act as a functional coordinator between operational teams, central Sales Administration, CSPMs, Engine Owners, and other contributing entities.</li><li>Contribute to the preparation of operational steering meetings and the consolidation of activity monitoring information.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Educated to a Master's degree level (Bac +5) in management, finance, accounting, or sales administration, with a minimum of 8 years of experience in Sales Administration, billing, or contract management in an industrial or complex environment. They have mastered advanced billing processes and effectively use an ERP system, ideally SAP. They are comfortable analyzing commercial contracts and can translate contractual clauses into reliable operational rules. Rigorous and structured, they possess strong analytical skills and ensure data quality and reliability. They are performance-oriented, with particular attention to reducing billing times and disputes. With good communication skills, they can collaborate with various stakeholders (finance, logistics, production, sales) and handle customer dispute situations calmly and effectively. As an operational referent, they support teams, share best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes. They operate comfortably in an international and cross-functional industrial environment, requiring rigor, coordination, and a service-oriented mindset.</p>
