Support to the implementation of the Country Office M&E system</strong></p><br> <ol> <li>Support the operationalization of the M&E framework of the CPD and the Integrated Work Plans (IWP) of the office;</li> <li>Contribute to the design, update, and monitoring of results frameworks, theories of change, and M&E plans of projects;</li> <li>Ensure the regular update of performance data in UNDP corporate platforms (Quantum, Corporate Planning System, etc.);</li> <li>Ensure consistency of project indicators with those of the CPD, UNSDCF, etc;</li> <li>Support the definition and tracking of SMART indicators, baselines, and targets.</li> </ol> <p><strong>2. Data collection, analysis, and use</strong></p><br> <ol> <li>Contribute to the design and implementation of data collection tools (questionnaires, monitoring sheets, dashboards, etc.);</li> <li>Compile, clean, process, and analyze quantitative and qualitative data from projects and implementing partners;</li> <li>Produce regular dashboards, visualizations, and analyses on portfolio progress for Country Office Management and programme units;</li> <li>Contribute to integrating gender, human rights, and inclusion (LNOB – "Leaving No One Behind") dimensions into monitoring tools and data;</li> <li>Support the use of data for evidence-based decision-making and strategic guidance of the office.</li> </ol> <p><strong>3. Support to monitoring missions and evaluations</strong></p><br> <ol> <li>Participate in field monitoring missions with implementing partners and prepare the corresponding mission reports;</li> <li>Support the planning, implementation, and follow-up of decentralized evaluations (mid-term, final, thematic) in line with UNEG norms and standards and the UNDP Evaluation Policy;</li> <li>Contribute to the preparation of evaluation ToRs, the selection of evaluators, the follow-up of the evaluation process, and the quality of deliverables;</li> <li>Ensure the follow-up of the implementation of evaluation recommendations through the Evaluation Resource Centre (ERC) and the Management Response System.</li> </ol> <p><strong>4. Support to the production of corporate and programmatic reports</strong></p><br> <ol> <li>Contribute to the drafting and consolidation of the office's corporate reports (ROAR, IWP Annual Review, CPD reports, donor reports);</li> <li>Support Project Managers in the preparation of quarterly and annual project progress reports;</li> <li>Ensure the quality, consistency, and compliance of reports with UNDP standards and partner requirements;</li> <li>Contribute to the preparation of briefing notes, presentations, and briefings for the Country Office Management.</li> </ol> <p><strong>5. Quality assurance, risk management, and compliance</strong></p><br> <ol> <li>Support the implementation of programmatic quality assurance procedures (Quality Assurance Assessments);</li> <li>Contribute to the identification, monitoring, and update of programmatic risks in the office's risk register;</li> <li>Support the follow-up of recommendations issued from audits, spot-checks, HACT, and other oversight exercises;</li> <li>Contribute to the portfolio's compliance with UNDP's Social and Environmental Standards (SES).</li> </ol> <p><strong>6. Knowledge management and capacity building</strong></p><br> <ol> <li>Contribute to the capitalization of good practices, lessons learned, and innovations from the projects;</li> <li>Support the organization of learning, induction, and capacity-building sessions for staff and implementing partners on M&E;</li> <li>Contribute to the production of knowledge products (capitalization notes, results sheets, success stories, infographics, etc.);</li> <li>Ensure the documentation and archiving of the office's M&E tools, data, and reports.</li> </ol> <p>The incumbent performs other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary for the efficient functioning of the Office and the Organisation.</p><br> <p>The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Associate will work in the PMSU, under the overall guidance of the DRR and under the direct supervision of the Head of PMSU.
