<br><p><strong>About this opportunity</strong></p><br><br><p>As a key stakeholder in reaching success for Solution Area Business & Operations Support Systems (SA BOS) strategy, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a good ability to lead change, encourage, innovate, strive for efficiency, automation, and digitalization, collaborate, be results-oriented, a problem-solver in a highly fast-paced, geographically diverse matrix organization working with the newest technologies of Telecom.</p><br><br><p>This position will have dotted reporting to KAM’s in Morocco as their primary sales lead within the BOS portfolio & will work closely with sales support, delivery heads and technical expertise to identify, scope, and close upsell opportunities.</p><br><br><p><strong>What you will do</strong></p><br><br><ul><li>Develop a growth strategy focused on BOS portfolio financial gain and customer satisfaction by streamlining OSS and BSS systems.</li><li>E2E dedicated responsibility for the complete BOS portfolio, taking the lead role in the strategy and execution of positioning and selling it (products and services).</li><li>Strengthen customer relationships with CIOs and C-level execs by addressing their needs and difficulties with our solutions and services.</li><li>Drive enhanced customer roadmap and charge planning, including increasing upsell effort.</li><li>Complete customer lifecycle sales responsibility, including continuous upselling and cross-selling.</li><li>Encourage and inspire team members across various groups to collaborate and strive towards attaining successful sales results.</li><li>The BOS Client Executive is only dedicated to BOS business and will have specific incentives and targets. Description<br><br><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><br><ul><li>Develop and implement the hotel's financial planning and budgeting process, in alignment with the hotel's strategic goals and hotel's performance and make strategic recommendations for improvement. </li><li>Work closely with the revenue management team to set room rates and optimize revenue through effective pricing strategies.</li><li>Monitor and analyse revenue streams from various hotel operations, such as room revenue, food and beverage, and other ancillary services.</li><li>Implement cost control measures to manage expenses efficiently without compromising on service quality and guest satisfaction.</li><li>Review and approve expenditures, ensuring compliance with budgetary guidelines and procurement procedures.</li><li>Oversee the financial operation of the hotel.</li><li>Co-ordinate an effective and efficient Payroll Management/Resource allocation through establishing a flexible work force throughout the Division, based on the principles of multi-skilling and multi-tasking.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, accounting standards, and local tax laws.</li><li>Coordinate and liaise with external auditors during the hotel's annual audit process.</li><li>Oversee cash flow management and maintain adequate cash reserves to meet operational needs.</li><li>Implement and monitor cash handling procedures to minimize risks of fraud or theft.</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with the hotel's executive team to develop financial strategies that The incumbent will ensure that aviation firefighting resources, equipment, and emergency response arrangements remain operationally ready and compliant with United Nations Aviation Standards and ICAO Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs). Experience in Aviation firefighting (rotary-wing and fixed-wing) aircraft operations is required. Org. Setting and Reporting<br>In its resolution 72/279 of 31 May 2018, the General Assembly created a dedicated, impartial empowered and sustainable development-focused coordination function for the United Nations development system, drawing on the expertise and assets of all United Nations development system entities, including specialized and non-resident agencies. The Resident Coordinator system ensures the coordination of all organizations of the United Nations dealing with operational activities for development at the country level, regardless of the nature of their presence in the country. It encompasses the UN Resident Coordinator, the UN Country Team and Resident Coordinator’s Office and is served by the UN Development Coordination Office. In line with this General Assembly mandate, the Resident Coordinator (RC) is the highest-ranking representative of the United Nations development system (UNDS) at the country level, with the responsibility to lead United Nations country teams, and ensure system-wide accountability on the ground – including through a matrixed dual reporting model - for the United Nations Sustainable Development Cooperation Framework and coordinating UN support to countries in their implementation of the 2030 Agenda.
