This position will impact projects through <strong>engineering, production, and characterization of multispecific biopharmaceutical products</strong>. The ideal candidate should have experience with biologics and multispecifics production platforms, analytical characterization. It is preferred that the candidate would have experience with ADCs and/or Oncology focused multispecifics. The applicant should be an enthusiastic, creative scientist who will make tangible contributions to the continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.</p><br><p><strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p><br><ul><li>Responsible for design, engineering and production of multispecific biologics to support the Oncology therapeutic area.</li><li>Evaluate and integrate state-of-the-art technology to improve therapeutic production platforms, and demonstrate creative “out-of-the-box” thinking to solve difficult problems</li><li>Serve as a Multispecifics Engineering representative for cross-functional teams, and contribute scientific insights into multiple projects across various therapeutic areas; recognized expert in multispecifics design and production</li><li>Identify and solve technical problems independently, conceive and implement innovative process research ideas</li><li>Ensure consistency and quality of technical reports</li><li>Provide project update, analysis and advice to cross-functional teams and senior management</li><li>Present original work internally across departments and at internal and external scientific conferences; may author or co-author peer-reviewed scientific papers or patents</li></ul><br>Qualifications<br><br><p>Qualifications</p><br><ul><li>PhD or MS degree in Biochemistry, Biochemical engineering or related disciplines</li><li>Title to be determined by years of experience, ideally in multispecifics biologics engineering:<ul><li>Sr Sci I 0-4 (PhD), 6+ (MS), or 8+ (BS)</li></ul></li><li>Experience with protein, biologics, fragments, and multi-specifics design, expression and purification</li><li>ADC and multispecific ADC design experience preferred</li><li>Strong molecular biology skills (e.g. molecular cloning) and experience with sequence analysis tools (Vector NTI, Geneious, Genedata)</li><li>Experience with purification and automation instruments (e.g. Akta, Kingfisher, Hamilton)</li><li>Experience with in vitro analytical techniques for protein characterization (e.g. SEC, MS, DSF)</li><li>Experience with developability screening for multispecifics preferred</li><li>Experience with CRO coordination preferred</li><li>Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to rapid change in priorities</li><li>Candidate must be a goal-oriented team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to operate in a fast-paced multi-disciplinary environment, and strong can-do attitude</li><li>Recognized in the scientific community through a sustained record of peer-reviewed publications and patents preferred</li></ul><br>Additional Information<br><br><p>Applicable only to applicants applying to a position in any location with pay disclosure requirements under state or local law: </p><br><ul><li>The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position.
