<p>As an Environmental Testing Engineer , you will be responsible for planning, executing, and documenting environmental and validation tests to ensure that products meet customer requirements and applicable international standards. Your main responsibilities will include:</p><ul><li>Create and manage test plans for validation activities, including DV, PV, revalidation, and environmental testing.</li><li>Define test methods and descriptions based on customer requirements and international standards.</li><li>Execute environmental, life, endurance, and validation tests according to approved test plans.</li><li>Monitor test conditions and ensure that the required environmental parameters are maintained throughout testing.</li><li>Evaluate and analyze test results against customer and applicable standards.</li><li>Prepare internal and customer validation reports, test documentation, and technical presentations.</li><li>Calculate testing and inspection costs and support the planning of test resources.</li><li>Prepare and document test software and support the use of laboratory testing systems.</li><li>Plan and coordinate the procurement of test adapters, jigs, fixtures, and cables.</li><li>Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure its proper operating and environmental conditions.</li><li>Support Production and Quality teams in investigating and resolving test-related issues and customer claims.</li><li>Open and follow up Jira tickets related to test non-conformities and coordinate actions with the Development team.</li><li>Participate in customer meetings and project team meetings to align test plans and communicate test progress.</li><li>Ensure proper documentation and archiving of test and validation results.</li><li>Collaborate with other KOSTAL laboratories and internal departments to support testing activities.</li><li>Comply with company requirements related to quality, health, safety, and environmental protection.</li></ul><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related technical field . Experience in testing, validation, laboratory activities, engineering, quality, or the automotive industry is an advantage. Knowledge of environmental, validation, endurance, and life testing is desirable. Basic knowledge of quality tools and methodologies . Basic understanding of automotive testing standards and customer requirements . Basic knowledge of bus communication systems is an advantage. Basic programming skills and ability to work with test software. Familiarity with Jira or similar project/issue management tools is an advantage. Experience with laboratory equipment and test systems is a plus. Good command of English, both written and spoken . Good command of French and Arabic . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. <p>Check email daily in order to receive inspection documents and guidelines; Attend inspections on time and communicate with supplier in a professional way; Perform the inspection of the merchandise according with company procedures. Supervise the stuffing of the containers according with company procedures; Fulfill inspection reports according with company procedures and time lines.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Experience in quality management, especially softlines/ garments/ textiles/ footwear (2 years or more); Knowledge of AQL standards, as well as relevant safety and quality regulations; Good command of English (spoken and written); Great attention to detail and strong professional ethics.</p>
<p>Lead the APL2 / Customer Logistics team and manage daily customer requirements and priorities. Monitor customer EDI/releases, orders, backlogs and delivery schedules. Ensure customer demand is correctly reflected in the production planning and shipment priorities. Coordinate with Production to establish and follow the production plan according to customer demand, available capacity and material availability. Work closely with APL1 / Supplier Logistics to identify material shortages that could affect customer deliveries. Maintain clear visibility of customer coverage, safety stock, backlog and shortage risks by customer/project. Proactively escalate potential customer stoppages and establish recovery/action plans. Coordinate premium/urgent transportation when required while minimizing logistics costs. Ensure reliable communication with customers regarding delivery status, shortages and recovery plans. Lead daily logistics/customer-service follow-up and cross-functional escalation meetings when necessary. Monitor and improve KPIs such as OTD/customer delivery performance, backlog, premium freight, customer complaints and inventory. Support new projects, ramp-ups, production transfers and changes in customer demand. Drive continuous improvement and standardization within APL2 processes.</p><p><strong>Desired Candidate Profile</strong></p><p>Bachelor s or Master s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or equivalent. Solid experience in automotive customer logistics / customer service / production planning. Previous team leadership experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of SAP, MRP, EDI and production planning. Good understanding of automotive supply-chain requirements and customer escalation management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively under pressure. Excellent communication and cross-functional coordination skills. Fluent English required; French is highly desirable. Spanish is an advantage.
