<p><br></p><p><b>JOB PURPOSE:</b></p><p>Lead the day-to-day field execution of WTG and BoP maintenance activities, ensuring safe, high quality, and timely delivery of preventive and corrective works, strong troubleshooting support, and proper documentation discipline, to sustain high availability and reliability of the wind farm under the supervision of the Site Engineer.</p><p><b>KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:</b></p><p><b>Health, Safety, Security & Environment</b></p><ul><li>Ensure compliance with HSSE policies, procedures, and controls across the plant to guarantee employee and asset safety, legislative compliance, and responsible environmental practices.</li><li>Perform regular PTW process inspection and ensure full compliance with NOMAC HSSE standards.</li><li>Ensure subcontractors full compliance with NOMAC HSSE standards and site rules.</li><li>Ensure a high level of HSSE awareness through regular coaching / toolbox talks and field presence to correct deviations.</li><li>Report all incidents and occurrences as per NOMAC Health and Safety policy and support investigation and action follow-up.</li><li>Lead daily field housekeeping closure after work (tools removal, waste collection, parts returned, area left safe/clean).</li><li>Perform weekly 5S walkdowns with technicians (turbine bases, workshop, service vehicles) and close actions.</li><li>Ensure technicians comply with fleet rules and confirm vehicle readiness before dispatch (safety equipment + basic checks).</li><li>Review weekly overspeed alerts for his team and apply first-level coaching, escalating repeated cases to Site Engineer / HSE.</li></ul><p><b>Operations & Maintenance Execution (WTG + BoP)</b></p><ul><li>Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance works, daily troubleshooting, and repair/replacement of wind turbine mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems/components.</li><li>Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities of BoP equipment.</li><li>Provide first-line technical guidance to service technicians and ensure safe, efficient execution and quality of work.</li><li>Support and lead major component replacement activities (e.g., generators, Transformer, gearbox) by coordinating resources, tools, and field readiness.</li><li>Daily toolbox + job readiness check before dispatch (scope, hazards, tools, spares, access, weather, communications).</li><li>Work quality hold points for critical tasks (MV terminations, transformer work, torque marking, reinstatement checks).</li><li>Defect elimination loop: create/maintain a simple repeat defects log and propose permanent corrective actions to Site Engineer.</li><li>Lifting & rigging readiness checks: verify lifting accessories certificates/condition before any lift (even when crane is contractor-owned).</li><li>Return-to-service verification discipline: ensure basic functional checks are completed (and recorded) before handing back to SCADA.</li><li>On Call/standby coordination: ensure fair on-call distribution, clear escalation and response protocol during breakdowns.</li></ul><p><b>PTW / LOTO</b></p><ul><li>Establish and maintain general safety from the system / Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO).</li><li>Support the proper implementation of PTW requirements and safe work execution in the field.</li></ul><p><b>Troubleshooting, Performance Monitoring & Downtime Control</b></p><ul><li>Interpret turbine faults and support troubleshooting to minimize downtime and improve availability.</li><li>Monitor turbine performance and identify recurring issues/potential problems requiring corrective action.</li><li>Support optimization of turbine downtime and service KPIs through better prioritization and execution discipline.</li><li>Follow up MPC recommendations and implement improvement actions to minimize generation losses and enhance plant performance.</li></ul><p><b>Work Management, Documentation & Reporting Quality</b></p><ul><li>Ensure technicians complete all relevant paperwork and system reporting (work orders, checklists, PTWs, reports) with good quality and on time.</li><li>Review and validate WO closure quality (clear problem/cause/action, measurements, parts used, attachments) and coach technicians to improve reporting discipline.</li><li>Maintain service logs and contributes to operational/maintenance reporting as requested by the Site Engineer.</li></ul><p><b>People Supervision & Capability Building</b></p><ul><li>Manage and monitor the performance of direct reports (service technicians) and provide regular feedback, coaching, and guidance.</li><li>Ensure knowledge transfer and continuous guidance of junior technicians and support competence progression.</li><li>Ensure discipline, teamwork, and proper work organization to deliver tasks efficiently and safely.</li><li>Manage daily attendance and work allocation; ensure technicians respect start/finish times, on call readiness, and approved leave plan; report deviations and recurring non-compliance to Site Engineer.</li><li>Ensure full adherence to P&C procedures related to work schedule, shift roster, on-call duty, attendance, leave planning, and recovery days, including timely communication and approval workflow.</li><li>Maintain professional discipline: punctuality, readiness for duty, timely handover, and compliance with site rules and instructions.</li></ul><p><b>Contractor Supervision</b></p><ul><li>Supervise contractors/subcontractors during on-site activities to ensure compliance with HSSE requirements, method statements, quality expectations, and site rules.</li><li>Follow up contractor progress and support field acceptance of completed works with proper evidence/documentation. Procedures, Continuous Improvement</li><li>Assist in the development and improvement of technical and safety procedures for main service activities and contribute to maintaining an updated site procedure library.</li><li>Perform quality audits/inspections on executed work to confirm maintenance is performed diligently and equipment is left in good condition.
