Job : Role Summary The Data Governance Engineer will design, implement, and operationalize data governance controls across Microsoft 365 (M365) services including SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams. This position requires deep technical expertise combined with governance framework design, automation, and compliance monitoring. Key Responsibilities 1. Governance Framework Implementation Design and implement enterprise-wide data governance models for M365 Define data classification, retention, and lifecycle policies Establish control frameworks for file duplication, ownership, and metadata consistency Align governance with regulatory standards (GDPR, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.) 2.
