<br> Job : <p>Reporting to the Head of Reproduction and Breeding, your main mission will be to contribute to the execution of the roadmap regarding genetic improvement and performance by supervising all processes related to equine health and reproduction.</p><br><br><p>As such, your main activities will be:</p><br><br><p><strong>Implementation of Equine Reproduction Objectives on Technical and Administrative levels and the Health of the Company's Horses</strong><br>- Ensure compliance with reproduction procedures to guarantee the quality and conformity of practices<br>- Provide close gynecological monitoring of mares at the Stud Farm's reproduction center, ensuring their well-being and health<br>- Guarantee the smooth running of the breeding season at the Stud Farm and in the reproduction centers in your region<br>- Actively participate in organizing the allocation of resources, whether qualified personnel or stallions, within the Stud Farm's affiliated reproduction centers<br>- Ensure the completeness and accuracy of documentary databases in information systems, ensuring efficient information management<br>- Maintain vigilant monitoring of supplies and quality of stocks related to reproduction, ensuring that necessary resources are available to support ongoing operations<br><strong>Monitoring Horse Health and Well-being</strong><br>- Establish and follow a health prophylaxis calendar to ensure the preventive health of horses<br>- Develop and monitor the feeding program, including distribution, to maintain adequate and balanced nutrition<br>- Establish and monitor a farriery program to maintain the health of horses' hooves and feet<br>- Provide curative treatments as needed to ensure the recovery of sick or injured horses<br>- Supervise and monitor the interventions of contracted veterinarians to ensure appropriate medical care<br>- Ensure monitoring of supplies and quality of stocks related to the management of stables and horses to maintain necessary resources<br>- Establish and monitor a horse training program to ensure their physical condition, training, and well-being<br><strong>Reporting and Performance Monitoring</strong><br>- Monitor reproduction indicators, collecting data and analyzing the performance of reproduction processes<br>- Generate periodic reports on reproduction, providing quantitative information and trend analyses<br><strong>Team Management</strong><br>- Supervise, lead, develop, and drive the performance of the team</p><br><br> <br> <br> Required profile : <p>As a potential candidate, you:</p><br><br><ul><li>Have a veterinary medicine degree with proven experience of 5 to 10 years minimum, ideally in the equine world;</li><li>Manage equine reproduction</li><li>Have knowledge of reproduction and insemination procedures</li><li>Manage horse feeding and the stables for breeding stallions</li><li>Manage teams and drive performance</li><li>Are results-oriented</li><li>Are rigorous and organized</li></ul> <br><br> </div>
