Purpose of the function</strong></p><br><p>To ensure that the store is in a safe and secure environment for visitors and co-workers. Also ensure that the property is safeguarded.</p><br><p><strong>2. A day in your life with us , you will :&nbsp;&nbsp;</strong></p><br><ul><li>Safeguard the store by regular patrolling and protect company assets.</li><li>Ensure safety procedures are conformed to (store free of any hazards, fire exits are properly locked, security seals are intact, no obstruction at emergency exits, no smoking the store etc.).</li><li>Perform general Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) technician duties to ensure workplace compliance with safety regulations and standards.</li><li>Maintain high visibility presence to deter illegal actions such as shoplifting, theft and fights.</li><li>Actively promote the IKEA social and environmental commitment and work with the rest of the&nbsp;team to understand how, together, we can contribute to sustainability.</li><li>Deliver and coordinate safety training programmes, including Fire Protection System knowledge and Health and Safety at Work.</li><li>Investigate incidents and near-misses, documenting findings and implementing corrective actions.</li><li>Be aware of all security related emergency response and follow the policy and procedures.</li><li>Adhere to IKEA supply chain and security policy, and report to concern manager in case of any identified security breaches.</li></ul><br>Qualifications<br><ul><li>Previous experience of working in Security.</li><li>SSI &amp; SST and EHS certifications.</li><li>Self-reliant with a proven ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.</li><li>Ability to understand and communicate in English.</li><li>Experience of creating and implementing plans, setting budgets and following up goals.</li><li>Ability to solve problems or find new ways of working by identifying solution sources and/or ideas.</li></ul><br>Additional Information<br><p>This position is full-time and is located in Cabo Negro - Tetouan, Morocco.
