<section>Job DescriptionRoles & Responsibilities<div class="paragraph">Teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and French for Specific Purposes (FOS): <ul> <li>Teaching French as a Foreign Language: across all sites (in situ and annexes) and across all CEFR levels, to children, teenagers, students and adults in private or group lessons.</li> <li>Teaching of French for Specific Purposes (Courses in companies, Expression and communication techniques, professional French, etc.) in person and remotely.</li> <li>Participation in in-person and remote placement tests (development, administration and evaluation)</li> <li>Needs analysis and pedagogical engineering in collaboration with the course manager and the pedagogical coordinator (design of modules and FLE & FOS reference materials).</li> <li>Content creation and facilitation of French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and French for Specific Purposes (FOS) courses.</li> <li>Participation in the creation of educational materials and the design of assessment tools.</li> <li>Participation in local meetings and the French Institute of Morocco network; promotion and implementation of local decisions and national directives;</li> <li>Participation in the promotion of cultural life and the media library of the French Institute of Marrakech to FLE learners and FOS clients.</li> </ul> Depending on service requirements: <ul> <li>Participation in the organization, supervision, administration and correction of DELF, DALF, TCF or other certifications on Saturday and Sunday</li> <li>Participation in registrations through educational tasks (design and administration of placement tests) across all sites (on-site and annexes)</li> <li>Involvement in all of the Institute's activities in order to promote links and joint actions between the different departments.</li> </ul></div></section><section>Desired Candidate ProfileQualifications: Bachelor's degree (Bac +4/+5) in French as a foreign language strongly recommended, or DAEFLE or equivalent diploma with proven experience. Use of educational technology and experience integrating it into French as a Foreign Language (FLE) and French for Specific Purposes (FOS) classrooms; proficiency in using tools for pedagogical purposes. Prepare and organize the necessary materials for classes. Fulfill the objectives outlined in the general plans distributed at the beginning of the year. Maintain the grade book up to date. Enter grades at the end of each evaluation period and semester, on or before deadlines. Design and prepare monthly assessments for each topic. Grade all assigned work. Keep the classroom decorated with materials related to lessons, activities, and holidays. Perform assigned playground supervision duties. Collaborate with the Psychology Department to support students with academic or behavioral issues. Work with the Academic Coordinator and psychologist to support students with special needs, including gifted learners. Attend meetings with teachers, academic coordinators, and assistant principals. Attend institutional workshops. Participate in parent meetings and special school activities. Comply with the established work schedule (departure time varies by grade level). Act as a mediator between students and inform the psychologist of conflicts and/or refer students experiencing emotional, personal, or family issues. Collaborate with the psychologist to organize community service projects and fundraising activities. Assist and/or organize student participation in fairs and other activities. Contact parents/guardians to invite them to meetings or special events when necessary. Record daily attendance in the system or submit forms to the Academic Support Department. Collect subject-specific assignments for portfolio organization according to level criteria, each evaluation period.
